The aim of Dave Day is to spread hope and happiness to all regardless of who you are or where you’re from whilst honouring and remembering Dave and all other lost loved ones.
We want to replace I’m having a great day with ‘I’m having a Dave Day!”
Whilst raising as much as we can for great causes.
This year’s event will yet again on 21/06/2025 see the UK motorcycle community pull together and ride to Dave’s hometown of Barrow in Furness, which in 2024 saw over 46000 riders take part.
This year the Dave Day team along with Barrow council, Barrow BID and North West Community Stars Football Club are working hard to create a fantastic weekend of events and celebration for us all to enjoy whilst raising as much as possible for this year’s charity causes.
Money will be raised through registration contributions, concert tickets, a Legends V Bikers football match, online donations and merchandise which will all be pooled and all profits split 50/50 between the chosen charities.
The charities that Dave Day are supporting in 2025 are NSPCC Childline and CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria a north west based charity providing cancer care and support over 850 sq miles in the key towns of Lancaster, Barrow,Kendal and Morecambe.
There will be no bucket collections for the charities!
Last year we raised £127,460.60 we would love to top this and with your support we believe its possible.
In addition to the above we are asking all riders on 2 or 3 wheels and anyone attending the event to bring one non perishable food item which will be donated on arrival to support local food banks.

Dave was an honoured member of the Sons Of Royalty, Who are a motley crew of bikers (and some car drivers) riding across the world, raising money for the NSPCC’s ChildLine Service and other UK charities. Liliana, Dave’s wonderful wife’s is also an honoured member who continues to ride with the SOR.

National Ride Out to Barrow In Furness
Join the thousands of bikers travelling from far and wide to meet up on the main route from Ace Cafe (London) to Barrow in Furness (Please keep checking here and Dave Day Facebook page for any updates)
Registration is now live
Due to the HUGE success of the 2024 ride with over 46000 bikes/trikes taking part the decision has been made for both logistic and safety reasons that all participants will need to register,
We are asking each bike/trike to make a voluntary donation of £10 to join the ride.
Registration will be via the Forum theatre Barrow in Furness website and each ticket will have a QR code and you will need to enter your vehicle registration number.
You will also need to indicate where you intend to join the ride, If you are intending to join anywhere outside of the main meet points that are indicated below please select the first one you will visit once joining the ride.
There will be secured parking available for all bikes/trikes in Barrow overnight with gate guards and patrols.

Charity Football match Legends Vs Bikers
We are pleased to be working with the North West Community Stars Football Club to host a Legends (and celebrities) Vs Bikers Charity football at Barrow AFC on Sunday 22/06/2025.
Tickets will cost £10 per adult, children (under 18) are free. All profits will be split between the charities, fancy a chance to represent the Bikers then get in touch via our Facebook Page.

Barrow In Furness Entertainment
There will a whole weekend of entertainment, events and food laid on by the Council and the Barrow Bid team click the button below for more information and updates as they are published. The evening concert on the Saturday will be a ticketed event at £10 per person with limited numbers available. All other entertainment is free of charge.
All profits will be split between the charities.
